๐Ÿ“ UPDATE POST

hello, thank you for showing interest in this little project of love - a gpsl based on the au rp setting of [community profile] greekyonsei. this account, despite being named the "mod" account isn't as much as a traditional moderator as much as it is a way to control and organize the gpsl's information. I appreciate your patience and cooperation as I work to finish things up and try to smooth out any rough spots.

I have some questions I'd like to ask in order to figure out what I need to focus on and what I can put off until later/post launch - please comment with the answers you have below! things should be set up for screened comments so don't worry about being anonymous (though you can be if you'd prefer) or finding a throwaway. IP logging is also turned off!

questions:
1. there's 8 greek houses in greekyonsei (comprised of 4 frats and 4 sororities) and I think having all options available is a good thing but this brings up the question of how big this gpsl should be at its limit. I was originally thinking for about 16 people max (very hopeful, I know) to allow for 2 people per frat/sorority. do you have any ideas on how to go about this? the other idea I had was to sort of "combine" two of the frats and two of the sororities to shrink it down to 6 in total and allow for a bigger muse limit per organization but at the same time I'm more than fine with not have a true limit since there's the big chance this gpsl will not be very...well, big.

2. on the topic of hive vs. bluesky (my war on twitter (jk)), I've only seen 1 vote of sorts in favor of bluesky because of it being much cleaner overall but from my understanding, bluesky does not have a DM option. personally, in this case, I am considering the use of hive until there's some sort of messaging option on bluesky. however I would like to know what ideas you may have! discord is another option but nitro isn't free and I can imagine some people are not really into the idea of having to log in and out of their accounts repeatedly just to use it.

3. when it comes to group events and being mindful of schedules, how do you feel about journal posts w/ different "location" top comments -OR- potentially the use of padlet? I've seen it used for group events on the non-au side of things and it's not too terribly complicated, and seems to be mobile-friendly in appearance (at least.)

4. do you have any questions for me? I might not be able to answer you directly but I plan on making another post in the near future w/ answers and results from this. thank you so much!!!

5. (optional) what's your favorite color ๐Ÿคจ
